Quinolone-related arthropathy in a 12 week old Pyrenean Mountain Dog – clinical and radiographic findings

Clinical, pathological and magnetic resonance imaging findings in juvenile dogs after fluoroquinolone administration have previously been reported. This case report describes bilateral radiographic changes of the distal femoral epiphyses in a 12 week old Pyrenean Mountain Dog after administration of a 5 day course, at a therapeutic dose, of enrofloxacin (Baytril®, Bayer).
